Victorian Epicure Inc. was founded in Victoria, BC in 1991, by Sylvie Rochette. The Home Office and manufacturing facility are situated on an 80 acre agricultural property, which includes 7 acres of vineyard on the Saanich Peninsula, just north of Victoria.
With an initial offering of four spice blends, the company now manufactures and markets over 300 high quality spice blends and gourmet food products, accompanied by a line of professional quality cookware and a brand new Home and Body Care line.
In 1996, Epicure Selections® (www.epicureselections.com) was created as a catalogue division of the company in response to the high demand for the products. With more than 5000 Independent Sales Consultants across Canada, Epicure Selections® provides training and support for Canadians, primarily women, to enjoy the freedom and flexibility of self employment.
With a strong commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility, the company has established the Epicure Foundation™. The Epicure Foundation™ is a non-profit organization committed to enhancing the lives of Canadians through education and poverty relief. By improving access to sufficient, safe and nutritious food, all Canadians can live active, healthful, and abundant lives.
